Whether the question is in your head, on a past paper, or on a printed worksheet, there's a way to get it into the tutor in a couple of seconds.
1. Type a question
Write it the way you would ask a teacher. No special syntax, and no need to explain your year or subject: the tutor already knows both.

I don't get why acceleration is still there when the object is momentarily at rest at the top of a throw.
1. Velocity and acceleration are separate quantities. At the highest point the velocity is zero, but only for an instant.
2. The only force acting is gravity, so the acceleration stays g ≈ 9.81 m·s⁻² downwards throughout the flight.
3. That is exactly why the object does not stay at the top: a non-zero acceleration immediately changes the velocity from 0 to a downward value.
2. Paste a past-paper problem

A particle moves so that s(t) = t³ − 6t² + 9t. a) Find v(t). b) Show that the particle is at rest twice. c) Find the total distance travelled in 0 ≤ t ≤ 4.
Part a) v(t) = s′(t) = 3t² − 12t + 9.
Part b) v(t) = 3(t − 1)(t − 3) = 0 at t = 1 and t = 3, both within the domain, so the particle is at rest twice.
Part c) Distances between turning points: |s(1) − s(0)| = 4, |s(3) − s(1)| = 4, |s(4) − s(3)| = 4. Total = 12.
3. Photograph a worksheet

1. Balance carbon first: 3 CO₂. 2. Then hydrogen: 4 H₂O.
3. Count oxygen on the right: 6 + 4 = 10 atoms, so you need 5 O₂, not 4. That single coefficient is the only thing to fix.
Final: C₃H₈ + 5 O₂ → 3 CO₂ + 4 H₂O.
